2019 Summer Camp

Tomahawk Summer Camp (July 27th - August 3rd, 2019) Week 7, White Pine, site Oak

Since 1953 Tomahawk Scout Reservation has been changing the lives of countless young men from around the world. Tomahawk is the destination for thousands of Boy Scouts, Webelos, and adult leaders every summer.

With just over 3,000 acres and 15 miles of shoreline Tomahawk is the host to a wide variety of wilderness environments and wildlife. Tomahawk Scout Reservation is located 30 miles north of Rice Lake, WI on beautiful Long Lake.  It is only 2.5 hours northeast of the Twin Cities.

Three separate program sub-camps (Sioux, Chippewa, & White Pine), a High Adventure Base, an Arrow of Light camp called Navajo, and an Outpost camp called Knapp Stout Logging Camp exist within the borders of Tomahawk. With four sub-camps, thousands of Scouts, and miles of property, Tomahawk has tremendous resources for Scouts to enjoy.

Some of the highlights of Tomahawk include:

·        Forty-eight campsites, spread among the four sub-camps. Campsites are wooded, spacious, and the majority are located on some sort of waterfront.

·        Each sub-camp offers over 40 merit badges-including some unique badges such as Whitewater, Horsemanship, Space Exploration, and Chess.

·        A first-rate high adventure program, featuring an ATV riding program.

·        First Year Camper program named Brownsea to help younger Scouts earn the rank of First Class at camp.
