About Us

Cub Scouts  Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 580!  Pack 580

Cub Scout Pack 580 is chartered to the "Concerned Parents of Pack 580" and is a member of the Sammamish Trails District in the Chief Seattle Council, Boy Scouts of America. We typically have our Monthly Pack Meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (except November and December where it is the 2nd Wednesday) starting at 6:45pm in the Robert Frost Elementary Commons located at 11801 NE 140th St in the NE Kirkland Kingsgate area.

We have a great program for every boy entering the 1st through 5th grade and largely depend on a leadership team of dedicated and committed  parents and adult volunteers in order to help our pack go. If you have any special talents, skills or simply posses a love and passion for leading and instructing boys through an enduring and proven rite of passage formula filled with enormous adventure, new discoveries, and personal growth -- we would appreciate having you download, fill out and return the Adult and Family Talent Survey Sheet from our "Download Forms" page.

Our Pack consists of bunch of boys ranging from Tiger to second year Webelos, with new Tiger Dens typically forming in the Fall. We welcome every boy and his parents to be a part of an extraordinary life journey and encourage you to consider sharing the Cub Scouting experience with your son. We are all about learning new skills and having fun! It's also a great opportunity to spend quality time with your family while meeting other families.

We hope you enjoy our new website and would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit us soon to see what scouting is all about, perhaps, we can convince you to stay and make a positive difference in your child's life.  Consider growing with us!

Yours in Scouting,
