Rohnert Park Pack 1 Scouting

Lion Scout

This is the first step of Cub Scouting. The Lion pilot is a Boy Scouts of America program that is designed to introduce kindergarten-age boysand their families to the fun of Scouting.

Bobcat Scout

No matter what age or grade a boy joins Cub Scouting, he must earn his Bobcat Badge before he can advance to the rank of Tiger CubWolfBear, or Webelos. A boy must complete the Bobcat requirements

Tiger Scout

This is the first step of Cub Scouting. As a Tiger, our motto is Search, Discover,Share. We go on field trips "Go and See It"s to check out local places;we participate in family activities and den activities. At the end of our Tiger year, we earn our Bobcat badge as we move upward into a Wolf den.

Wolf Scout

This step is where many boys join Cub Scouting. As a Wolf, we learn to listen to our Akela. The Wolf Book has twelve achievements for us to complete to earn our Wolf badge--things such as learning about tools and the flag;testing our skills in outdoor activities; starting a collection; and learning about cooking. After we earn our Wolf, we can continue to learn and earn arrow points until we graduate into a Bear den.

Bear Scout

This is an exciting step to start at. As a Bear, we are really branching out and exploring all sorts of neat things--the Bear Book has 24 different achievements available, 12 of which we need to complete to earn our Bear badge. Some of the achievements include exploring our family's heritage, more flag etiquette, simple cooking, model building, and knot tying. After we earn our Bear, we can also earn arrow points until we graduate into a Webelos den.

Webelos Scout

This is the two year phase of Cub Scouting that prepares boys for Boy Scouts. As a Webelos,

Arrow of Light Scout

This is a year phase of Cub Scouting that prepares boys for Boy Scouts. As an AOL Scout,  These activities are even more challenging, but are especially geared towards what we need to know to earn merit badges in Boy Scouts.
